Uinta Mountains, Utah - Snowshoe

Hiking and biking season is over, but that means the start of winter activities. Since I don't ski OR snowboard (making me a criminal in the state of Utah), this means snowshoeing. Rob, Brandon, and I headed up to the Uinta Mountains east of Salt Lake on Saturday to walk around and do some snowshoeing.

Who knew the main road through the Uintas is closed in the winter? I think I did, but apparently I forgot. After that minor setback we took an alternate route along the south side of the mountain range and still got some awesome views and found a few places to hike/snowshoe.
